Docklands building...

Posted by
Gemma Wiseman (Melbourne, Australia) on 20 January 2019 in Architecture and Portfolio.

National Australia Bank building at Docklands, Melbourne. It is a 14 storey building standing at the gateway to Docklands for pedestrians from Southern Cross Station. Its features include an energy efficient façade. The “cathedral windows” are coloured according to the amount of sunlight they receive, with a spectrum running from red, through to orange, yellow and green. The architecture highlights the triangle as its primary visual motif, with a magnificent triangular atrium rising through the centre of the building.
